Back in the day (almost two decades ago), technical books were practically a single source of truth and knowledge. I still remember the “revelation” brought to me by reading Thinking in Java.
Back to nowadays.
Finished a recently published tech book and started another one. Both books are on Go, one on CLI and the other on TDD topics. And they feel like a solid article series, which one can find on Medium. But not as solid as I would expect from a book.
Is it me, not getting the point of the authors? Maybe it is just the diminishing returns of being in tech for some years and becoming too snobbish and hard to be surprised…
