It’s hard and intimidating to start something new, for example learn a new technology, or a programing language. But what a relieve when one can find not only fun, but engaging approach to learning.

Exercism was always a welcoming experience for me. Not only it’s community build and driven, one can learn something new and interesting aside from your main goal of programming language learning.

Take this easy exercise for example: gigasecond. Task itself is so simple, while background is so deep. I was immediately hooked by the idea of seconds based time tracking. So futuristic and technological ;)
